KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • AltLayer launches the GoPlus AVS mainnet, enhancing Web3 security with decentralized and user-driven services.
  • GoPlus transitions to an AVS model, offering faster transactions and improved security through decentralized execution and risk analysis.
  • The AVS mainnet provides comprehensive security protections, including Anti-Phishing and Token Security Analysis, ensuring a transparent and decentralized experience.
  • AltLayer’s Wizard platform simplifies AVS deployment, leveraging EigenLayer’s restaking mechanism for enhanced security.

AltLayer has announced the launch of the GoPlus AVS mainnet, marking a significant advancement in Web3 security services. This open, permissionless, and user-driven network is designed to enhance security operations for Web3, leveraging AltLayer’s AVS technology and EigenLayer’s restaking mechanism to bolster economic security and create decentralized networks.

GoPlus, a prominent player in the security space with over 30 million daily API calls and more than 12 million wallet users, has transitioned to an AVS model. This move aims to provide users with faster transactions and improved security. The GoPlus AVS will facilitate secure transaction risk analysis by utilizing decentralized execution and verification of critical security services. This includes engaging a subset of operators to simulate transactions and conduct comprehensive risk analysis, thereby adding value and mitigating risks for users.

Enhancing Security with AVS Technology

The GoPlus AVS mainnet will offer a range of security protections, including Anti-Phishing, Token Security Analysis, Anti-Scam, Malicious Address & AML Detection, Signature Detection, and detection of potential MEV attacks. YQ, Founder of AltLayer, emphasized the importance of decentralization in blockchain security, noting that GoPlus’s comprehensive services aim to deliver a verifiable, transparent, and decentralized experience. The AVS technology is expected to expedite real-time interventions, allowing GoPlus to efficiently serve its large customer base without security gaps or delays.

Allen Zhang, Co-Founder of GoPlus, highlighted the significance of transparency, decentralization, and user trust in the next generation of Web3 security infrastructure. He stated that GoPlus is proud to be the first fully decentralized security service network enabled by AVS. Through collaboration with AltLayer and integration with the EigenLayer ecosystem, GoPlus aims to achieve unprecedented levels of transparency and decentralization in its security services.

AVS-as-a-Service Platform: Wizard

This launch represents the first security-focused AVS mainnet to be introduced via Wizard, AltLayer’s AVS-as-a-Service platform. The no-code platform is designed to reduce deployment time and complexity by templatizing popular AVS tools, offering a 10x faster and 100x easier experience. AltLayer’s AVSs are secured by EigenLayer’s restaking mechanism, and GoPlus will benefit from EigenLayer’s trusted, pre-approved operators, as well as comprehensive data on EigenLayer’s AVS Dashboard.
