Bybit has announced the inclusion of ai16z (AI16Z) in its ByVotes program, allowing users to vote for the cryptocurrency’s potential listing on the Spot trading platform. Participants can also compete for a share of a 50,000 AI16Z prize pool if their chosen projects are successfully listed.
ai16z is a venture capital initiative led by AI agents, modeled after the renowned venture capitalist Marc Andreessen. The project aims to leverage artificial intelligence and collective intelligence for investment decisions.
How ByVotes Works
To participate in ByVotes, users must first deposit funds into their Bybit account. The platform will conduct 24 hourly snapshots each day to calculate the average asset holdings of each participant. Eligible assets include USDT, USDC, USDE, USDD, DAI, and CUSD. The more assets held, the more votes a participant receives.
During the voting period from January 3, 2025, 8 AM UTC to January 5, 2025, 8 AM UTC, users can cast votes for their preferred project. Multiple votes for a single project are allowed. If AI16Z reaches the required vote threshold, it will be listed on Bybit’s Spot trading platform. A separate announcement will follow regarding the listing.
Boosting Votes and Participation
Bybit encourages users to invite friends to join the platform using referral codes. Each successful referral that participates in ByVotes grants the referrer additional votes, enhancing their support for their chosen project.
Participants must complete Identity Verification Level 1 or above to vote. Users in restricted regions are not eligible to participate. Votes are airdropped to the main accounts of eligible users, and only those who vote for the winning project will receive rewards.
